The Grossarl Valley

NEW: EXTRA COMFORT AND (SKI) ENJOYMENT

A new 10-person gondola lift, new slopes, and a new summit restaurant bring skiing to a whole new level in the Grossarl Valley.
The Grossarl Valley, with its ski circuit to Dorfgastein, provides skiing and nature fun for the entire family. It has always been associated with beautiful slopes, contemporary lifts, and charming cabins with enticing sun terraces. Around 70 million euros are presently being invested in a new 10-person gondola lift, more slopes, and related ecological measures for the winter of 2023/24. Furthermore, the new top restaurant WOLKE7 entices customers with superb cuisine and regional specialties. The 360° panoramic view is completely free.

The valley's free adventure meadow with practise lift, magic carpet, tubing carousel and massive snow playground is a family favourite.

Away from the slopes, the Grossarl Valley at the gateway to the Hohe Tauern National Park beckons with cross-country ski paths, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ski excursions, and up to ten guided outdoor activities per week as part of the BERG-GESUND activity programme. The Grossarl Valley is likewise well-known for its high-quality hotels. The selection includes everything from warm rural guesthouses to family-friendly flats, exclusive chalets, and stately luxury hotels.
